DJ Hannibal is now a well established name in the drum & bass scene along the South Coast. Based in Southampton, UK, he has been mixing drum & bass for over 8 years and is recognised for playing a wide spectrum of drum & bass styles including liquid, dark and jump up. Hannibal has constantly developed his abilities to ensure his skills and track selection are second to none. Having recently purchased CDJ’s, Hannibal’s talent and proficiency have only increased further and he now rinses out at lightning speed on 4 decks whenever possible.
Hannibal’s first arrival on the scene was playing on the local internet radio stations and he then progressed to play at local events such as Southcoast DnB and Liquid Sex. Since then Hannibal’s DJing career has gone from strength to strength; having played at every venue in his hometown for promoters such as Paradox and Elite Unit whilst creating a solid fan base, he became a resident with Rollin Rave and finally got the recognition he deserved by catching the eye of head honcho Whitey and winning the Enter vs. Drumfunk competition in December 2009.
In addition to securing his residency with Enter vs Drumfunk and playing alongside all the biggest names in drum & bass including Andy C, Friction, Sigma and Netsky, Hannibal has spent the last 18 months reinforcing his presence and is an essential fixture on any DnB lineup along the South Coast, as well as events further afield. He has now become a regular on the mighty One Nation circuit after first being booked for New Year’s Eve 2010 and enthralling a packed dancefloor for his midnight set. His success has continued to snowball in 2011 and after making his debut to a sell out crowd in May at Whitehouse, Hannibal is proud to announce his residency with On A Mission. The brand is continuing to grow at an impressive rate and with the finest selection of local talent headlining at each event, it is apparent that the future for Hannibal and On A Mission looks extremely promising.
My name is Ross, aka MC Kendall, co-owner of Carbon Wipeout and a member of a charity fund raising committee in New Milton that raises money for the local charity's in my community.
I am 22 years of age and have lived in New Milton (Bournemouth) all my life. Been MC'n since I was about 14, but never took it seriously until I was about 17-18.
I first broke in to the scene in the summer of 2007 where I started performing on a live Internet radio station called Krisis Dnb with a DJ called Mx, and with MC's Stamma and Substance. We used to play live every Tuesday and Sunday evening broadcasting our show all over the world.
From there I started playing out, mainly in Southampton and Bournemouth for the likes of Southcoast Dnb and One Manor. Playing on Krisis Dnb contributed a lot to my hobby, and I met a lot of people through it.
Then in 2008 I became part of a group called Rollin Rave and participated in every one of their events. Along my journey of playing out, I Met a Dj and event manager called Justin Mcevoy (Dj Bassmental) Owner of On A Mission. One booking led to another, and before I new it I started playing out over most of England, meeting new people at every event.
I am now playing out every other weekend if not every weekend for the likes of: On A Mission, Sub Culture (Party:ard), Robinlee Sounds, Sticky, Lost In Bass, Rollin Rave, Booyaka Promotions, Dubfuture and many more, entertaining the ravers and having a good time.
Big up every one in the game!
