Well what can I say, from the minute I arrived at On a Mission to the very end of the night, the Hardcore room was totally rammed and absolutely rocking! The night for me started with Rampant DJ’s and MC Hursty, which was a set full of bounce-tastic tuneage, getting the club in the full Easter Bank Holiday weekend party mood. Then stepping up to the decks was the legend that is Joey Riot with the MC Smash, who in true Lethal Theory fashion played a banging set, ending on some of the finest Gabba around. Last but not least it was my turn to grace the decks with MC Mayhem, and I can honestly say that I was impressed at how hard all the ravers raved, keeping the room buzzing right until the sound system was turned off. This was definitely a slamming night; with some top quality ravers…make sure you don’t miss the next one!
Well The Waterside Theatre was an excellent venue for the event.
As advertised "the cheapest bar in Southampton" and it really was @ around £2 per drink - Quality Mrs said she would go there again just for the drink prices, LOL
They had a 20K sound system that sounded sweet and crisp.
On A Mission provided a host of DJ's and MC's that all performed really well, for me the set that stood out from the bunch was Dubya's, his tunes were lively & woobly but calmly mixed as standard from the Dubya! then to top it off he saved his best to last with a track Audio - Collision, this would give any decent sound system a good run for its money!
I loved it so much I had to run back stage and tell him to his face Tunnneee!!!
The crowd were nice a friendly and there was a big bunch of pure ravers at the front of the dance floor that had it all night!
